Preparing an EKD purchase or sample request
Samples and minimum quantity
Include the number of trial units and expected production quantity. Request written confirmation of sample availability, minimum quantity, price and terms for the exact model and configuration.
Standard or custom configuration
Provide the complete model code for a standard item. For a custom requirement, send dimensions, operating conditions, environment and acceptance criteria so the technical scope can be agreed before the quote.
Delivery date and documents
State the destination and required date. Availability and delivery are confirmed for the model, configuration and quantity in the quotation. List the drawings, inspection records, declarations and traceability documents you require; request confirmation of their scope before ordering.
Warranty or failure review
Provide the order reference, model and batch marking, installation photos, operating data, time in service and failure symptoms. Ask for the applicable warranty terms and assessment procedure in writing; do not assume a standard warranty period or an automatic replacement entitlement.
