Maintenance & replenishment

Shock absorber spares for bottling and packaging line maintenance

Build a clear replenishment request for the shock absorbers already fitted to your beverage production line. Factory maintenance teams, service companies and spare-parts buyers can submit the installed part details directly.

Locate the equipment and the stopping position

Check the parts list for the relevant case packer, palletiser, transfer unit or conveyor stop. Record the equipment maker, machine model and assembly position wherever a shock absorber is fitted. A line can contain several equipment brands and different absorber specifications.

Keep distinct parts separate in your stock list

For each position, record the existing code, mounting dimensions, stroke and quantity fitted. Add the quantity required for maintenance and the quantity held in stores. Similar-looking absorbers should remain separate until their specifications and duties have been checked.

Coordinate replenishment with the maintenance window

Send your requested quantities, destination and planned shutdown date. Existing parts can be reviewed first; operating loads and cycle frequency can be added where technical confirmation requires them. Keep the confirmed part reference with the maintenance record for subsequent orders.

From identification to repeat orders

  1. 1. Identify the part

Send the existing code and machine details. If the marking is unclear, send a close-up and an installation photo by email or WhatsApp.

  2. 2. Confirm the specification

We review dimensions, stroke, mounting and operating duty before proposing a model. Quote and delivery availability are confirmed for the requested quantity and destination.

  3. 3. Keep a replenishment record

After technical confirmation, keep the approved model, machine position and order reference together. Include that reference with your next maintenance order.

Maintenance purchasing questions

How often should a shock absorber be changed?

Use the machine maintenance instructions and the exact shock absorber specification. Cycle count, load, return time and environment affect the inspection and replacement plan; one calendar interval does not apply to every machine.

Can I order from a machine brand or a matching thread alone?

Please also provide the part code and installation position. Matching threads do not establish stroke, damping or duty suitability. Any proposed fit must be checked for the particular machine and part.

Can service companies and spare-parts distributors enquire?

Yes. Send the machine types you support and the shock absorber codes on your maintenance parts list. Include quantities and delivery dates for each item so they can be reviewed separately.
