Working principle
Hydraulic oil is forced through calibrated or adjustable orifices as the piston moves, converting kinetic energy into heat and controlling deceleration.
Construction
Threaded cylinders, piston rods, bearings, orifice systems, return springs or accumulators, optional caps and mounting accessories.
Applications
Automation axes, pneumatic cylinders, motor-driven slides, packaging equipment, robotics and repeatable machine stops.
Series in this family

EK / EKL Adjustable Hydraulic Shock Absorbers
EKExternal damping adjustment helps match the absorber to changing impact conditions. The EKL range addresses lower approach speeds.
