Selection and installation

Check the Z, X and Y direction loads, deflections and natural frequencies separately. Static, dynamic and shock stiffness are not interchangeable. Provide equipment mass, support layout, excitation frequency and allowable travel to confirm the mounting configuration.

Series working principle

Stranded steel cable deforms between mounting bars. Friction between the strands dissipates energy; stiffness varies with displacement and load direction.
